Ice Universe, a reliable tipster known for his Samsung-related leaks has revealed details about Samsung’s upcoming One UI 7.0 software update, expected to launch in mid to late August.
The new system will feature a fresh look, with redesigned icons, backgrounds, and lock screens. Users can expect a wider variety of widgets for their home screens and a revamped camera app.
These changes aim to give Samsung phones a new feel and improved functionality. The tipster has shared a list of changes expected from One UI 7. Take a look at the image below.
One UI 7 will allow users to personalize their phone experience by separating notifications from quick settings in the drop-down menu. Additionally, the software will introduce fresh animations for opening and closing apps, displaying notifications, unlocking the phone, and navigating through menus.
Additionally, there should be a new control area at the bottom of the screen, adjustment options for shortcut icons on the lock screen on the left and right side of the screen, a new battery icon and charging animation, 5G SMS messages, larger folders, new controls in the pill icon on the left corner of the notification bar.
However, these features are a part of early beta versions of One UI 7 and more additions will come as new versions are released. Let’s not forget how large the changelog is whenever there is a major update to One UI, so it is safe to say that this is just a small part of what’s coming.
