The Sindh government has intensified efforts to generate new government jobs, offering hope to unemployed youth in the province.
The administration has asked all departments to provide details on vacant positions from Grade 1 to Grade 15. This information is required within the next three days to facilitate the new recruitment process.
It is pertinent to mention that Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah recently announced thousands of new jobs available in the coming days.
According to the Chief Minister, the Sindh government has already created 16,000 positions in Grade 16 and higher. During a post-budget press conference, Shah revealed that 75,000 jobs would be created in the education department and 50,000 in the police.
On the other hand, in June, the Sindh High Court (SHC) canceled the employment of over 54,000 individuals hired last year by the PPP government in various Sindh departments due to fake domiciles.
