Sindh Launches Verification App for Arms Licenses, Airport Access, and More

On Thursday, Inspector General of Police Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon launched a new ‘verification application’ at the Special Branch office.

This app allows citizens to verify their arms licenses, airport entry, character details, and other services from home. During the event, the DIG Special Branch briefed the IGP on crime and other related issues.

Memon was informed that street crimes have decreased significantly this year compared to last year. Furthermore, authorities have cracked down on scrap dealers and arrested groups involved in tampering with the IMEI numbers of stolen mobile phones, contributing to the reduction in street crimes.
