In a noteworthy achievement, six young Pakistanis, assisted by the Pakistan Army, successfully hoisted a 200-foot national flag at the summit of Burzil Pass, reaching an altitude of 13,808 feet.
The massive flag was first displayed at an Independence Day rally in Nagi, a village near the Line of Control (LoC). A special ceremony took place at a primary school in Nagi, attended by local residents, students, and Pakistan Army personnel.
The community celebrated Independence Day with various activities, including volleyball and tug-of-war matches, promoting unity and national pride.
The flag continued its journey as a central symbol of the celebrations, embodying the unity and strength of the Pakistani people. A key highlight was its display at Rainbow Lake on Burzil Pass, a popular tourist spot, where the massive flag was hoisted again, representing national pride and support for the armed forces.
The young Pakistanis from Punjab dedicated their accomplishment to the independence heroes and the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Army.
