Another monsoon spell is expected to reach Sindh on August 26, according to a Met official cited by ARY News on Wednesday.
Westerly and southwesterly winds are currently influencing Karachi’s weather, bringing pleasant conditions with cloud cover and occasional drizzle.
Meteorologist Anjum Nazir Zaighum mentioned that the upcoming monsoon system will enter Sindh on August 26, with Karachi likely to experience significant rainfall on August 27 and 28.
Although the monsoon season is ongoing, the intensity of rainfall in Karachi is expected to remain mild, with light showers forecasted.
Today, most districts in the province will experience hot and humid weather, though Jacobabad, Dadu, Jamshoro, and Karachi may see rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds in the evening or night.
The minimum temperature recorded in Karachi was 29°C, with the maximum expected to reach 33°C. Winds are currently blowing at 16 kilometers per hour from the southwest, with 64% humidity.
On Tuesday, the city remained overcast, with a persistent sea breeze and light rain or drizzle in various areas.
The weather forecast indicates that Karachi will continue to experience cloudy conditions, with light rain and drizzle expected during the evening and night in the coming days.
