Flight From Qatar to Nepal Makes Emergency Landing in Karachi

A flight heading to Nepal from Qatar was forced to land in Karachi due to a medical emergency onboard.

According to details, a passenger aboard flight QR 652 from Qatar to Nepal fell critically ill while the aircraft was in Pakistani airspace. The pilot subsequently reached out to Karachi Air Traffic Control (ATC) to request an emergency landing.

Acting on the air traffic controller’s instructions, the pilot redirected flight QR 652 from Sukkur to Karachi. The aircraft landed at Jinnah International Airport at 8:15 AM, where a medical team assisted the ailing passenger.

A few weeks ago, an Oman Airlines flight en route to Kerala from Muscat made an emergency landing at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport after a passenger suffered a heart attack mid-flight.

The pilot requested emergency landing permission from Karachi Air Traffic Control (ATC). Upon receiving clearance, the flight landed at  Jinnah International Airport, where a medical team promptly transported the passenger to a hospital in Karachi.
