Muhammad Waseem Urges Govt. to Resolve His Passport Issues

Pakistani boxing pro, Muhammad “Falcon” Waseem is reportedly facing a bit of trouble related to his passport. According to the star’s social media posts, his passport has been stuck with the Danish Embassy in Pakistan for a month.

The former IBF Flyweight title contender is due to fly to the United Kingdom for a training camp in preparation for a fight. Waseem is set to challenge the undefeated South African Sabelo Cebekhulu on October 4th in a bout for the vacant WBF World Bantamweight Title in Valetta, Malta.

The Boxer has reached out to Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif multiple times on social media site X asking the government to get involved and resolve this issue.

Muhammad Waseem’s last boxing match was a losing effort against Sunny Edwards for the IBF Flyweight title in March of 2022. Since then he has been working hard and training. It is hoped that this issue with his passport is resolved soon and that he can proceed to his training camp without any further issues.
