Surprisingly, Shaheen was actually the slowest in terms of average speed although his fastest delivery clicked at 141 kmph in the first Test match.

Despite the raw pace on display, it was Khurram Shahzad who stood out with his wicket-taking ability. He was the only Pakistani pacer to claim two wickets in Bangladesh’s first innings, providing crucial breakthroughs for his team.

His performance, coupled with his impressive speed, highlighted his potential as a key asset in Pakistan’s fast-bowling arsenal.

Naseem Shah, known for his fiery pace, led the attack with energy, consistently testing the Bangladeshi batters. Shaheen Afridi, although slightly slower than his fellow pacers, remained a constant threat with his ability to move the ball both ways.

Mohammad Ali, making his presence felt with his controlled pace, contributed to the overall pressure exerted by Pakistan’s bowling unit.

Pakistan will hope that their pacers continue to dismantle the Bangladesh batters and guide the team to a crucial victory in the first Test in Rawalpindi.
