Public Holiday Announced for Urs of Baba Bulleh Shah

The Deputy Commissioner of Kasur, Captain (Retired) Aurangzeb Haider Khan, has announced a local holiday on August 31 (Saturday), on the occasion of the annual Urs of the renowned Sufi poet Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah.

According to details, the annual three-day Urs of the famous Sufi poet Hazrat Baba Bulleh Shah, which begins on August 30, has prompted the Deputy Commissioner to declare a local holiday across the district on August 31. An official notification regarding this has also been issued.

The Urs, a three-day event, is a significant occasion that draws devotees and admirers of Baba Bulleh Shah from across the country. It celebrates the life and teachings of the revered poet, known for his profound spiritual insights and contributions to Sufi literature.
