South Africa Women’s Team to Tour Pakistan for T20I Series Ahead of World Cup

In preparation for the upcoming T20I World Cup, the South Africa women’s cricket team is set to tour Pakistan for a three-match T20I series in the third week of September.

This tour will be crucial for the preparation of both teams as they gear up for the global tournament scheduled for October this year in U.A.E.

All three matches will take place in Multan, a city with a reputation as a key venue for international cricket in Pakistan. The series is expected to provide both sides with valuable match practice and an opportunity to fine-tune their strategies ahead of the World Cup.

This tour will be a significant event for South Africa, who are aiming to sharpen their skills and build momentum before the ICC T20 World Cup.

For Pakistan, hosting a top-tier team like South Africa not only bolsters their preparations but also provides their players with the chance to compete against a formidable opponent on home soil.

Pakistan will face Scotland on September 28 and Bangladesh on September 30 before their first T20 World Cup game against Sri Lanka on October 3. The Girls in Green will take on arch-rivals India on October 6 at the Dubai international stadium.
