The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced plans to launch a major anti-encroachment operation in the long-stalled and under-developed E-12 sector, to restart development work initiated over 35 years ago. This decision was made during a meeting chaired by CDA Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa, as stated in an official press release on Wednesday.
The E-12 sector was originally launched by the CDA in 1989, and over 4,000 plots were sold at that time. However, plot buyers have been waiting for decades for the development of their properties, as the sector has seen little progress since its inception. A CDA official acknowledged the frustration of many plot owners, some of whom have passed away after waiting for more than 35 years. He pointed out that individuals who purchased plots in their mature years are now likely in their 70s or older, calling the situation a “great injustice.”
According to the official, the primary reason for the delay in development was a longstanding dispute between the CDA and local landowners over compensation for the acquired land. Although the CDA had initiated partial development work a few years ago, it was halted due to unresolved issues with contractors and local landowners.
In response, CDA Chairman Randhawa has instructed the relevant department to resolve the legitimate concerns of landowners and take action against those who have illegally occupied CDA land in the sector. He also emphasized the urgent need to commence development work in E-12 without further delay.
During the meeting, the CDA chairman stressed the importance of coordinating the anti-encroachment operation with the Islamabad Police and city administration. He further announced plans to personally visit sector E-12 to oversee the resolution of issues and accelerate the development process.
Additionally, the CDA chairman called for similar actions in other sectors, including I-15 and I-12, to remove encroachments and ensure the timely completion of development projects.

CDA is a public service organisation it should deliver efficiently but unfortunately it isn’t reliable organisation . CDA always gives stressed to it’s client’s i.e. citizens of Pakistan those who’s are interested in living Islamabad.
سی ڈی اے اس حد تک تباہ ہو چکا ہے کہ ایک سیکٹر تک ڈویلیپ کرنے کی سی ڈی اے میں صلاحیت نہیں مذکورہ سیکٹر ای 12 تقریباً 35 سالوں سے التوا کا شکار ہے۔ 1989 میں سی ڈی اے کی جانب سے لانچ کیئے گئے اس سیکٹر میں ایک پلاٹ تک کا قبضہ اب تک نہیں دیا جا سکا ہے۔ میٹنگز پہ میٹنگز، بڑے بڑے دعوے کیا کیا نہیں کیا گیا سی ڈی اے کی جانب سے مگر افسوس زمینی حقائق سی ڈی اے کے بلند و بانگ دعووں کے برعکس ہیں۔

پینتس سالوں سے زیر التوا سیکٹر مطب اگر اس وقت کم از کم 20 سال کی عمر میں کسی نے پلاٹ کیلئے پیسے جمع کروانے تھے تو اب اس کی عمر 55 سال ہوچکی لیکن پلاٹ ملنا تو دور کی بات پلاٹ ملنے اور قبضہ دینے کا فیصلے کی بیان بازی کی بھی سینچری ہوگئ جو نیا چئیرمین آتا ہے ڈونگ مار کے چلا جاتا ہے یعنی کہ اس ادارے کی کارکردگی اور اسکے ملازمین کی قابلیت اور حکومت کی بےحسی کا اندازہ لگائیں کہ 35 سالوں میں اس ملک کو دیانتداراور مخلص لیڈر نصیب نہیں ہوا اور نہ ہی اس عرصے میں اس پاکستانی ہجوم کو احساس تک ہوا ہے
What about G15 and G16 sectors of islamabad
F-16 Sector also need due attention which falls under CDA jurisdiction, since the administration of the sector JKCHS is sitting and enjoying the perks. At every new term, they conduct election and ruin the wealth of the citizens and leave the space for new commers. No idea why CDA is sitting quite.
What about jaddah town opposite to DHA, Rawalpindi, many years ago no one doing to take action about this. We still hope anyone take seriously action about jaddah town and Give back there plots to Right Owners.

Muhammad Ali Randhawa is the man who can do this he did the similar thing in LDA City Lahore and started giving possession to plot owners by speeding up the process for those waiting for a decade
