PIA Employee Reportedly Fired Over Allegations of Harassment in Dubai

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has reportedly taken decisive action by removing its Regional Sales Manager in Dubai, Zeeshan Ahmed, following multiple complaints of harassment against him. The allegations involve inappropriate conduct towards female employees, including a staff member of the Dubai National Air Travel Agency (Dnata).

The decision to remove Ahmed from his position comes after PIA received several complaints regarding his behavior. A PIA spokesperson confirmed to the media that the national carrier’s administration has launched an investigation into the matter. The complaints were initially brought to PIA’s attention by Dnata, the General Sales Agent in Dubai.

The spokesperson revealed that Ahmed has been specifically accused of harassing a female employee at Dnata. Evidence supporting these allegations has been submitted to PIA’s administration via email, prompting further scrutiny.

In addition to the internal investigation by PIA, a Dubai-based woman has filed a formal complaint against Zeeshan Ahmed with the Federal Ombudsman, which is currently under review.

  • Most of PIA heads deputed abroad are criminals. EU took good decision not to entertain PIA flights. Throughout the country the situation is more or less same. Above 90% federal and provincial employees are criminals.

    • Just bcoz of some culprits you cant blame the whole team or nation.everyone is responsible for his own individual action.thanks hope you understand this

  • Most of such station managers behave like فرعون their behavior and attitude is so rude one cant imagine, they misuse, abuse authority, totally corrupted but serve like a faithful servant to their masters, most of them having free bebefits as PIA is almost gone, they should be called back to save sone money. PIA never takes action against such staff it is other countries administration who complain

  • This is a conspiracy against the individual being blamed. This was initiated by Ms.Ramsha Zahra DNATA stafff posted in PIA office Dubai, who has strong connections in Pakistan media. The lady filed a complaint in a police station in Dubai on 19th August, but after calling both individuals to police station police, detailed interrogation and cross examination, Dubai police did not entertain her complaint. Later on PIA, Manager was also issued a clearance certificate of good conduct from Dubai Police on 09th September 2024, that could be shared on requirement along with other proofs as well. Ms. Ramsha upon failure to get favorable decision from Dubai police then used her connection to defame PIA and its manager through media. It is also to be noted that Dubai police has international standards of transparency specially in case of women protection and if Dubai police has found this complaint based on false allegation then we all should respect the decision and not post such news. Mr. Sher Alam news reporter and the management of the news agency is required to delete the post. Dubai Police certificate of good conduct could be provided via email if required for verification.
