Revision in ceilings expected soon

Similar surveys have been carried out in the other five cities. Estate Office will now sends its recommendations to the Ministry of Housing.

The Ministry of Housing will review these proposals and send its summary to the Prime Minister for approval.

It is pertinent to mention here that there has been no change in rental ceilings since 2021 which forces the employees to contribute funds from their pockets to cover rent.

Note: Actual revision in rates may vary from the survey results. However, a final decision in this regard is expected in the coming weeks.
