Organic Meat Company Ltd Adds 300 MT Per Month Capacity for Meat Production

The Organic Meat Company Limited has announced the successful completion of Expansion Phase 2 of its operations. This phase adds an additional capacity of 300 Metric Tons (MT) per month for producing frozen cooked beef meat, the company said in a stock filing on Wednesday.

“The expanded production capacity is aimed at catering to the growing demand for high-quality frozen cooked beef meat products, particularly in the market of the People’s Republic of China (PR China), where The Organic Meat Company Limited has a strong presence,” it stated.

This development marks a significant milestone in The Organic Meat Company Limited’s strategic growth initiatives and further strengthens its position in the Chinese frozen cooked beef meat market, the filing added.

The company’s principal activities are the processing and sale of halal meat and allied products.

At the time of filing, the company’s scrip at the bourse was Rs. 41.45, up 1.77 percent or Rs. 0.72 with over 1.2 million shares on Wednesday.
