Electricity Suspension Schedule Announced for Faisalabad and Other Areas

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has announced a power shutdown scheduled for September 28, 2024. According to the official schedule released on Wednesday, the electricity supply will be interrupted in various areas of Faisalabad as part of the planned maintenance work.

From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the power will remain suspended in Johar Colony, Gatti, and Ravi feeder areas. Additionally, there will be a power shutdown from 7 a.m. to noon affecting multiple feeders, including Malrri, Hassan, Peerawal, Shalimar, and Mondi. Areas such as SOS Village, Ashrafabad, Chenab Engineering, Bageywal, Umar Garden, Misaq ul Mall, Sheikhupura Road, Chenab Limited, Yousafabad, and the 500KV Gatti grid station will also experience power outages during this time.

Moreover, several industrial and residential areas, including Manawala, Rehmat Abad, Ghaziabad, Bhaiwala, NTU, WAPDA Academy, Hamdar, Mughalpura, Habib Haseeb (SES), Johal, New Asim Textile, Ziarat (SEL), Shahbaz Garments, and JA Textile, are expected to face temporary electricity suspensions.

Residents and businesses in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements in advance to minimize the inconvenience caused by the power outage. FESCO has apologized for the disruption and ensured that efforts are underway to complete the maintenance as quickly as possible to restore the power supply.
