Yamaha Pakistan has rolled out a new color for its YBR 125G, seemingly inspired by the golden Honda CG125. The motorcycle company recently teased its fans on social media saying: “Something is on the way; stay tuned to learn more!”
If you’ve been following the local motorcycle scene, you’d know that “something new” often means a shiny new color or a fresh sticker. True to form, the updated YBR 125G is here with a dazzling “Golden Yellow” paint job.
While this bold color is sure to make riders feel like stars on the road, it’s disappointing that Yamaha didn’t throw in any exciting upgrades to go with it. Instead of improved features, it seems they just wanted to give the bike a makeover—like putting a new coat of paint on an old house.
In their enthusiastic promotion, Yamaha encourages riders to “brighten up the road” and embark on new adventures. They also highlighted the addition of Markhor-inspired graphics to make the bike even more eye-catching.
Here are the photos:
One can’t help but wonder if these graphics are meant to distract from the fact that the bike remains the same under the shiny exterior.
The new YBR 125G can be found at your nearest dealership, priced at Rs. 485,000. But before you rush out to buy it, you might want to ask yourself: is a new color worth it, or are you just paying extra for some fancy paint?
