Venue Announced for Dr Zakir Naik’s Lecture in Islamabad

Islamabad is set to host renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik, who will deliver a public lecture at Jinnah Stadium, Sports Complex, on Saturday, October 19, 2024. The event will begin at 6:15 p.m. and is part of his highly anticipated Pakistan tour. Dr. Naik’s lecture, titled Muslim Professional Ki Zimmedari, is expected to draw a large crowd.

His son, Shaikh Fariq Zakir Naik, will speak earlier on Islaam Insaaniyat Ke Liye Rehmat Na Ke Zehmat. This lecture is one of many scheduled during Dr. Naik’s 15-day tour across Pakistan, which kicks off on October 5 in Karachi and concludes in Islamabad on October 20.

The Karachi event will be held at Bagh-e-Quaid, where Dr. Naik will speak on The Purpose of Our Life, followed by his son’s talk on Kya Quran Ko Samajh Kar Parhna Zaroori Hai.

In a recent interview with a Pakistani YouTuber, Dr. Zakir Naik opened up about significant moments in his life, including his decision to move to Malaysia after leaving India. Addressing the question of why he didn’t relocate to Pakistan, Dr. Naik explained that moving to Pakistan could have led to him being falsely labeled as an ISI agent, which would have hampered his efforts to spread Islamic teachings.

“Sharia teaches us to accept a lesser harm to avoid a greater one,” he shared, adding that moving to Malaysia allowed him to continue his work without facing such accusations. The interview garnered millions of views within hours, reflecting his widespread popularity.
