In a historic showdown at the inaugural World Beach Kabaddi Championship, Pakistan clinched the silver medal after a hard-fought battle against host nation Iran.

The final, held on the beaches of Iran, saw the hosts narrowly edge out Pakistan with a final score of 45-41, securing the championship title by a mere six points.

Pakistan’s journey to the final was marked by a commanding performance in the semi-finals earlier in the day, where they triumphed over Iraq with an impressive 58-21 victory.

In preparation for this prestigious event, the Pakistan national team underwent rigorous training at the Pakistan Sports Complex.

Under the guidance of the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation, led by Secretary General Muhammad Sarwar Rana, the players honed their skills from September 25 to 30, focusing on strategies tailored to the unique challenges of beach kabaddi.
