IBCC Expands Digital Verification System to Connect All Education Boards

To streamline the process of verifying educational documents, the Inter-Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) is accelerating its efforts to connect all educational boards in Pakistan to its digital verification portal.

This initiative is aimed at ensuring that student records can be authenticated directly through the portal, reducing the need for manual processes.

Several major boards, including the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, the Balochistan Board, and various Punjab education boards, have already integrated into the system. The latest development comes as IBCC and the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for data sharing.

The agreement allows IBCC to have read-only access to BISE Peshawar’s data via an API, promising to simplify and speed up the document verification process. The MoU was signed by IBCC Executive Director Dr. Ghulam Ali Malah and BISE Peshawar Chairman Professor Nasrullah Khan Yousafzai. Examination controllers, directors, and IT teams from both organizations attended the signing ceremony.

This collaboration eliminates the need for students to physically visit BISE Peshawar for document validation. Instead, students from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa can now apply for IBCC verification online, saving both time and money. This effort is expected to encourage other boards in the region to follow suit, further benefiting students across the province.
