SCO Summit: Pakistan Issues Security Advisory for Foreign Diplomats

Ahead of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit in Islamabad, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has requested foreign diplomats to limit their movement during the two-day event, scheduled for October 15-16.

In an official communication, the ministry urged diplomats to remain within the Red Zone and Diplomatic Enclave and adhere to the traffic plans enforced by local authorities.

The advisory is part of heightened security measures to ensure the safety of participants attending the SCO summit. A high-level meeting, chaired by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, saw the approval of a detailed security plan for the event.
