The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has launched a new service that allows citizens to apply for or update their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) without the need to visit a NADRA office.
Known as the NADRA Biker Service, this initiative is available in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The service is designed to eliminate the hassle of standing in long queues and save valuable time. Plans are in place to roll out this service in other cities soon.
To use the service, citizens can call NADRA at 1777 and speak with a representative. After sharing details about the required service (such as applying for a new CNIC or updating personal information), you can set an appointment. A NADRA biker will visit your home or office to process the application.
The total cost for a new CNIC using the Biker Service is Rs. 1,500, which includes a Rs. 1,000 service fee. Payments can be made either by card or in cash.
Once your CNIC is processed, NADRA will deliver it directly to your doorstep, so you don’t need to visit their office again.
