KP Govt Provides Internship to Overseas Pak Medical Students

Adviser to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister for Health, Ahtisham Ali here Thursday night said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government was providing internships to overseas Pakistani medical students.

On a point of order in the KP Assembly, the CM aide said that internships for medical students who obtained degrees from overseas medical colleges and universities are being provided on limited seats in all teaching medical institutions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on merit. He said that limited seats and financial constraints were key challenges in this regard.

Earlier, on a point of order, MPA Abdul Salam said that depriving overseas medical students of paid house jobs at medical teaching Institutions in KP was a great injustice. He demanded payment to all house job doctors.
