Xiaomi has launched a new version of its Redmi Monitor G27Q in China, the Multi-Functional Stand Edition 2025. Aimed at casual and competitive gamers, this updated model features an enhanced stand compared to the original.
The 27-inch monitor boasts a 2.5K (2560 x 1440px) LCD with 300 nits of peak brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and support for 16.7 million colors. Its 178° wide viewing angle ensures consistent visuals from different perspectives.
The refresh rate goes up to 180Hz to support high FPS gaming while the response time is as low as 1 ms. It also has support for AMD’s Freesync tech to help synchronize the frame rate between the GPU and the monitor, reducing screen tearing and stuttering.
User comfort is a key feature, with TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light mode and DC dimming to reduce eye strain and screen flicker.
The adjustable stand offers a range of ergonomic options, including height, tilt, and swivel adjustments, as well as wall-mounting capability. Ultra-thin bezels maximize screen real estate, and a joystick simplifies menu navigation.
Connectivity options include two DP 1.4 ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, and an audio port. The monitor measures 612.5 x 227.3 x 521.9 mm with a stand and weighs 5.6 kg. It is also compatible with VESA mounts (75 x 75).
Redmi Monitor G27Q has a starting price of $196 in China and it is unclear if it will officially launch in Pakistan at a later date. Xiaomi does have a few locally available monitors in Pakistan, but none are the gaming kind.
If it launches in Pakistan, it should come with a 3-year warranty, the same as the Chinese model.
