Xiaomi 15 is expected to launch soon, possibly shortly after Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite launch on Monday. This is because Xiaomi 15 is expected to be one of the first phones to feature this chipset, though we don’t have a launch date yet.
As always, the flagship phone is expected to debut in China first, but now we have evidence that it will reach global markets sooner than usual.
This is because of the phone’s appearance in the GSMA database. Even though Xiaomi 15 has been spotted here before, there has been a change in the listing, which has led many to believe that the phone is coming sooner than usual. The phone now shows up with its market name “Xiaomi 15” on the database instead of only its model number “24129PN74G.”
However, if this speculation proves false, there is a high chance that Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra will launch together for the international market at MWC 2025 in March next year. The event is set to take place between March 3 to March 6, 2025.
Even though there is no official word on the global variant, Xiaomi is expected to start the teaser campaign for the Chinese model soon enough. We expect it will launch next week after the Snapdragon 8 Elite becomes official.
These teasers will not only reveal the specifications but will also confirm the launch date for the Chinese market.
