Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (PSX: FFC) has initiated a Public Offer to acquire 151.05 million ordinary shares of Agritech Limited.
In a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday, FFC said the offer has been made under the under the Securities Act, 2015 and Listed Companies (Substantial Acquisition of Voting Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2017.
The announcement made by Integrated Equities Limited, the Manager to Offer, references a Public Announcement of Intention to acquire shares and control of Agritech Limited, which was initially published on September 12, 2024, in two newspapers.
As part of the process, FFC has submitted the Public Announcement of Offer following Regulation 7(2) of the aforementioned regulations. Additionally, supplementary documents and information required under Regulation 7(5) will be submitted separately to the Commission.
A copy of the Public Offer announcement will be published in Nawa-e-Waqt and The Nation on October 25, 2024, the notice said.
