Two-time Pakistan Super League Champions Lahore Qalandars will participate in the Global Super League T20 event in Guyana next month.
The event is slated to run from November 26 to December 7, 2024, with five teams from five different countries competing for a massive prize pool of US$1 million. Along with Lahore Qalandars, the tournament will include the Guyana Amazon Warriors from the Caribbean Premier League as well as Rangpur Riders of the Bangladesh Premier League and Australian domestic side Victoria.
Hampshire, who is undergoing a sale to the GMR Group is also rumoured to be involved.
The tournament will follow a mini-league format with 11 matches, with each team playing four games. The top two teams will advance to the final. All matches will be held at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence. The event is planned to be held annually, with different teams from around the world invited to participate each season.
