The world’s leading electric vehicle manufacturer, BYD has officially launched two of its highly anticipated models, the BYD Seal and Atto 3.
This launch marks BYD’s formal entry into Pakistan’s burgeoning electric vehicle (EV) market, a move that was first hinted at in August when the company unveiled three models, including the SEALION, SEAL, and Atto 3.
While the SEALION remains under wraps, the Seal and Atto 3 are now available for purchase, with official prices and specifications announced at a recent event.

BYD Seal
This D-segment sedan is set to compete with established models like the Tesla Model 3. It features a design concept known as ‘Ocean Aesthetics,’ characterized by a sleek, sloping body shape that enhances both style and performance. The front end of the Seal is distinguished by its double U-shaped headlamps and grille, forming an X-shaped design that exudes sportiness and sophistication.

- Exterior Design: The Seal’s exterior is adorned with unique features such as “scales” near the C-pillar and “gills” behind the front wheels, reinforcing its marine-inspired theme.
- Interior Features: Inside, the Seal offers a luxurious experience with leather and Alcantara finishes, diamond stitching, and a Swarovski-style crystal gear lever. The vehicle is equipped with modern conveniences like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a panoramic roof.
- Performance: The BYD Seal boasts an impressive range of up to 570 km, powered by an 82.5 kWh Blade Battery. It supports rapid charging, allowing the battery to go from 10% to 80% in approximately 37 minutes. Additionally, the vehicle includes a power outlet for charging household appliances.
Atto 3
The Atto 3 is a fully electric SUV positioned to compete with popular models such as the Hyundai Tucson, KIA Sportage, and Changan Oshan X7. Its distinctive design features unique front grilles, bumpers, and a rear profile that sets it apart in the market.

- Exterior Design: The Atto 3’s front end is equipped with bi-projector LED headlamps and DRLs, while the grille features a fin-line structure to enhance aerodynamics. The rear end includes fins on the quarter glass, Atto 3 badging, parking sensors, and dot matrix taillights.
- Interior Features: The interior is a blend of black and light blue with red stitching, offering bucket seats, ample cabin space, and a futuristic cockpit-like design. It includes a rotating screen, wireless charger, and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
- Safety and Technology: The Atto 3 is equipped with advanced safety features such as multiple airbags, collision warning, and a 360-degree camera. It also includes modern conveniences like an audio recognition feature and a start/stop button.
Pricing
BYD Pakistan has announced the prices for two variants of the BYD Seal. The Premium variant is for Rs. 16,990,000 and the Dynamic variant is for 14,790,00. The price of BYD Atto 3 is Rs.8,990,000.
