In Balochistan’s Zhob district, a clerk at the Government Model Higher Secondary School reportedly lost a large sum of money from ninth- and tenth-grade students’ exam registration fees in online gambling.

The school’s principal, Wazir Khan, confirmed that the clerk was responsible for safekeeping PKR 2.314 million, which was collected as examination fees from 878 students of grades nine and ten. However, when asked to deposit the fees, the clerk revealed he had lost the funds in online gambling on the platform “1X Bet.”
