China has announced visa-free entry for citizens of nine more countries to encourage cross-border travel, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stated on Friday.
Beginning November 8, citizens of Slovakia, Denmark, Iceland, Andorra, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Norway, Finland, and South Korea will be able to enter China without a visa for stays of up to 15 days for business, tourism, family visits, or transit.
Lin added that this visa-free policy will be in effect from November 8, 2024, to December 31, 2025, as a trial for ordinary passport holders from these countries.
