Hundreds of Pakistanis Stranded at Malaysian Airport for Nearly a Week

Over 350 Pakistani passengers, including women, young children, and elderly individuals, have been stranded at Kuala Lumpur Airport for the past five days after their scheduled flight to Pakistan was repeatedly delayed.

The flight, Batik Air OD 1310, was originally set to depart from Kuala Lumpur to Lahore, with passengers hoping to reach Pakistan. However, due to issues with the airline, the flight has not yet taken off, leaving these passengers stuck at the airport.

According to reports, the airline has faced challenges in arranging a suitable aircraft for the journey.

One passenger recounted that three days ago, an alternative plane had been arranged by the airline. However, just as preparations for takeoff were underway, a sudden engine failure rendered the plane unusable, further extending the wait for those hoping to return home.

The affected passengers, who have been living in uncertainty and discomfort, have appealed to the authorities for urgent assistance, requesting swift action to secure their return to Pakistan.
