Different Parts of Pakistan Set to Receive Rainfall

Good news has arrived for residents suffering from smog: The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in the federal capital, Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the department, Islamabad will likely experience smog on Monday morning. However, by evening, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy, with strong winds and rain accompanied by thunderstorms.

In Punjab, smog is anticipated to persist in most districts, including Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Narowal, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, and D.G. Khan. Dense fog is also expected during the morning hours.

For areas like Attock, Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Gujranwala, and Lahore, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms and strong winds at some locations in the evening.

Meanwhile, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s northern districts, the weather is expected to remain cloudy, with Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Mansehra, Battagram, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Malakand, Bajaur, Mardan, Mohmand, Khyber, Kurram, Peshawar, and Kohat likely to experience rain and thunderstorms, along with snowfall on higher mountains.

Peshawar, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, and surrounding areas are also expected to see smog or fog in the morning.
