Honda Teases New Design for Third-Gen Amaze Sedan Ahead of Launch

Honda Cars India has teased the new third-generation Amaze sedan, set to launch on December 4, 2024. It showcases a refreshed design, a modernized interior, and advanced features aimed at elevating comfort and style.

The new Amaze boasts a design inspired by the Honda City, featuring a nearly upright hexagonal grille with sleek LED headlamps. A strong shoulder line runs along the sides, seamlessly blending into the rear, where wraparound taillights with S-shaped LED signatures give it a polished look. The car also includes a shark fin antenna and dual-tone alloy wheels.

Inside, Honda has introduced a two-tone interior with a horizontal dashboard layout, similar to the Honda Elevate. A free-standing touchscreen sits at the center of the dashboard, accompanied by rectangular AC vents and a compact climate control panel. The cabin includes a new three-spoke steering wheel with integrated controls, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and beige seat upholstery to create a warm, premium feel.

To meet modern connectivity needs, the new Amaze includes Type-C charging ports, a wireless charger, and cup holders in the center console, alongside a 12V power outlet. Honda has also added automatic climate control and cruise control for enhanced convenience. An advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) suite is expected, positioning the Amaze as a standout in its class.

Under the hood, the Amaze will likely retain the reliable 1.2-liter petrol engine, offering both a 5-speed manual and a CVT transmission option.
