The Ministry of Religious Affairs has launched the “Pak Hajj” app to assist and guide pilgrims for next year’s Hajj. This mobile app, available for Android and iPhone, will keep applicants updated with step-by-step information throughout their journey.
The app offers details about Hajj training schedules, including times, dates, and locations. It also provides flight schedules with departure and return details, including cities and timings. With the help of maps, pilgrims can navigate routes and locations in Makkah, Madinah, and Mushaira.
Saudi Arabia has allocated a quota of 179,210 pilgrims to Pakistan for Hajj 2025. On Monday, 15 designated banks began accepting Hajj applications. So far, 15,844 applications have been received, with the highest numbers recorded in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi.
For the first time, the government has allowed pilgrims to pay Hajj fees in installments. Applicants must submit Rs. 200,000 with their applications, followed by Rs. 400,000 within ten days of balloting. The remaining amount is due by February 10, 2025.
