The latest ICC player rankings have brought mixed news for Pakistan’s cricket stars.
White-ball captain Mohammad Rizwan has slipped two spots in the ICC T20I rankings, now sitting in 8th place with 704 points. This drop comes after a subdued performance in the recent T20I series against Australia.
Meanwhile, former skipper Babar Azam retained his 5th position with 727 points, remaining the highest-ranked Pakistani batter in the format. Notably, no other Pakistani batter currently features in the T20I top 50 rankings.
Australia’s Travis Head continues to reign supreme as the No. 1 T20I batter with 855 points, followed by England’s Phil Salt (828) and India’s Tilak Varma (806).
