Kia has teased its upcoming SUV, Syros, ahead of its global debut in India on 19 December. Positioned between the Sonet and Seltos in Kia’s lineup, Syros promises to make a mark in the competitive compact SUV segment with its modern design and advanced features.
The latest teasers reveal exciting highlights, including a segment-first panoramic sunroof, two-piece L-shaped LED taillights, roof rails, a shark-fin antenna, a high-mounted stop lamp, and an integrated spoiler. The front design features split headlamps with LED headlights and DRLs, while the side profile showcases flush-fitting door handles and dual-tone alloy wheels, emphasizing its premium appeal.
The interior is expected to include a feature-packed cabin with ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a 360-degree camera, and a wireless charger. Other expected highlights include a large touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, dual-tone upholstery, and armrests for both rows. The Syros might also offer an ADAS suite, elevating safety and driving convenience.
Under the hood, the Kia Syros is likely to feature 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, paired with manual and automatic transmission options.
