Islamabad Temperature Drops to -1°C

The temperature in Islamabad dropped to -1°C on Tuesday morning, according to data from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

The PMD forecasted that the federal capital would experience cold and dry weather throughout the day. During the early morning, severe cold conditions were observed.

  • Skardu, Gupis: -7°C
  • Kalam, Kalat: -6°C
  • Gilgit, Astore, Quetta: -5°C
  • Dir, Malam Jabba: -4°C
  • Hunza: -3°C
  • Islamabad: -1°C
  • Murree: -2°C

Other cities reported the following minimum temperatures:

  • Lahore: 6°C
  • Karachi: 11°C
  • Peshawar: 3°C
  • Faisalabad: 5°C
  • Multan: 6°C
  • Muzaffarabad: 2°C

24-Hour Weather Forecast for Islamabad

In the next 24 hours, Islamabad is expected to experience partly cloudy to clear skies. Temperatures are likely to range between -1°C to 2°C during the night and early morning.

Humidity levels will remain high, reaching up to 91%, which may result in light fog formation in isolated areas. The day will stay cold and dry, with a slight chill in the air, particularly in shaded and open spaces.
