The Balochistan Education Department announced winter vacation schedules for educational institutions on Saturday.
A notification detailed that schools in the colder regions of Balochistan will remain closed for 65 days from December 16, 2024, to February 28, 2025. Meanwhile, schools in warmer areas will observe a shorter winter break from January 1, 2025, to January 10, 2025.
Separately, the Punjab Education Department had announced winter vacation dates for schools in the province. According to the department, winter holidays in both private and public schools will begin on December 20, 2024, and continue until January 10, 2025.
This provides a total of 20 days off for schools in Punjab. The winter holidays will offer students much-needed rest and relief, allowing them to recharge during the colder months.
