According to a report by Geo News, the Sindh government announced a public holiday in all government offices on December 25 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The provincial government also issued a notification declaring December 26 a holiday for Christian employees in celebration of Christmas.
The nation celebrates the birth anniversary of Pakistan’s founder with great zeal and reverence. The day will begin with gun salutes in the federal and provincial capitals, followed by a dignified changing of the guard ceremony at the Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum in Karachi.
Various official ceremonies and events will be held across the country to honor Quaid’s life, political struggles, and pivotal role in creating Pakistan. Additionally, numerous social, political, and non-governmental organizations have arranged special programs to pay tribute to the leader.
