Redmi Turbo 4 Delayed, Design and Key Details Leaked

Redmi has reportedly delayed the performance-focused Turbo 4 from its anticipated December release. In addition, an image circulating on China’s social media platform Weibo claims to showcase the design of the device. The image reveals slim, symmetrical bezels, squared-off edges, and a dual rear camera setup. The front camera appears housed in a small punch-hole cutout.

Interestingly, the design resembles the Samsung Galaxy S24, with even the wallpaper looking similar. This has raised questions about the leak’s reliability, as the source is unverified. For now, the details remain uncertain, and it’s best to approach the leak with skepticism.

So far, reports suggest that the Redmi Turbo 4 will feature a flat OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution. The phone recently received 3C certification, which revealed support for 90W fast charging, hinting at a focus on rapid battery replenishment. MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 chipset will power the device, expected to include upgraded cores and set to debut on December 23.

In terms of pricing, the Redmi Turbo 4 is likely to cost between 1,500 Yuan (~$205) and 2,000 Yuan (~$275), making it a competitive mid-range option for Chinese consumers.

Although the Turbo series has traditionally remained exclusive to China, the Poco F6, which launched globally earlier this year, was a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 3. This pattern suggests the Turbo 4 may also reach international markets under the Poco F7 branding.

Additionally, reports indicate Redmi could release a Turbo 4 Pro next year featuring the Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset, signaling a higher-tier option. For now, the delay pushes back the official unveiling, but the leaks provide an early look at Redmi’s next performance-driven device.
