Islamabad High Court (IHC) has officially announced winter vacation with a notification by the Deputy Registrar following approval from Chief Justice Aamir Farooq.
According to the notification, the IHC will observe winter holidays from December 24, 2024, to January 8, 2025.
Meanwhile, schools and colleges across Islamabad will also close for winter vacation. As per the academic calendar for 2024-25, all educational institutions under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) will observe holidays from December 28, 2024, to January 12, 2025.
The two-week break is designed to provide students and teachers a pause from academic routines during the coldest part of the year, ensuring a refreshing start to the new term.
