Indian National Arrested in Punjab for Illegal Stay

Punjab police have apprehended an Indian national in Mandi Bahauddin for residing in Pakistan without legal documentation.

Acting on a tip-off, authorities raided the Moong area within Saddar police station’s jurisdiction. The suspect, identified as Badal Singh from Nagla Khatkari, Aligarh, failed to produce a valid visa or permit.

A case was registered against Singh, and he was presented in court. The judge subsequently sent him to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.

In a separate incident, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) thwarted a human smuggling attempt at Karachi airport. Four individuals, including a human smuggler, were detained while attempting to travel to Poland illegally via Azerbaijan.

The arrested individuals were identified as Haseeb Ahmed, Qaiser Ahmed, Usman Ali, and agent Abdul Shakoor. According to an FIA spokesperson, evidence retrieved from Shakoor’s phone revealed his connections with an Indian agent, Gautam Sharma, who had planned to facilitate the illegal migration to Poland.
