South African batting star Rassie van der Dussen has officially registered for the upcoming HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 draft.
A proven performer in T20 leagues, van der Dussen’s success in T20 leagues around the world has been a key factor in his rise to prominence. He was a vital part of the Vancouver Knights team that won the 2018 Global T20 Canada, and his performances earned him a spot with the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). Later that year, he topped the batting charts in the inaugural Mzansi Super League, scoring 469 runs at a strike rate of 138.75 to lead the Jozi Stars to the title.
Van der Dussen joins a growing list of international stars who have registered for the PSL 10 draft, making this year’s player pool one of the most competitive in the league’s history. Other big names include England’s Alex Hales, Australia’s Usman Khawaja, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan, England’s David Willey, South Africa’s Rilee Rossouw, and Australia’s Matthew Short, among others.
