Poco X7 Series Launch Date Confirmed Alongside Official Images

Poco has officially announced its plan to unveil the new X7 series of mid-range smartphones, including the Poco X7 and X7 Pro, on January 9. The launch will cater to the global market, including India.

Although the Poco X7 Neo is also part of the lineup as an entry-level model, it remains unclear whether it will debut alongside the X7 and X7 Pro. However, given the timeline, an announcement for the Neo may follow soon after.

Design and Camera Details

Poco has teased the design of the Poco X7 series with official images, revealing bold yellow-black dual-tone back panels that stand out. Interestingly, both models include a 50MP primary camera equipped with optical image stabilization (OIS), ensuring sharp and detailed photos.

Upon closer inspection, the Poco X7 seems to have a triple-camera setup, whereas the Poco X7 Pro opts for a sleeker dual-camera design. This difference suggests that the Pro model may focus on more advanced sensors or enhanced camera features.

Poco X7 Series Rumored Specifications

Although Poco has not shared the technical details yet, industry rumors are shedding light on what to expect. Reports suggest that the Poco X7 will share similarities with the Redmi Note 14 Pro, while the X7 Pro will likely be based on the Redmi Turbo 4, set to launch in China on January 2.

The Poco X7 will have a Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, offering reliable performance for mid-range users. In contrast, the Poco X7 Pro will incorporate the Dimensity 8400-Ultra chipset for higher-end performance.

For added context, the previous Poco X6 series used the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 in the X6 and the Dimensity 8300-Ultra in the X6 Pro. By comparison, the Poco X7 series appears to bring notable performance upgrades.

Availability and Pricing

Based on the pricing trends of their predecessors, the Poco X7 is expected to launch at around $260, while the X7 Pro could be priced at approximately $315. Since the global launch is right around the corner, it should not be long before the phone arrives in Pakistan as well.
