Veteran New Zealand pacer Tim Southee has officially registered for the PSL 10 draft. The 36-year-old Southee, one of the most experienced players in the T20I format, becomes the fourth New Zealander and the 22nd overall foreign player to sign up for the PSL 10 draft.
Tim Southee is widely regarded as one of the finest pacers in the history of T20 cricket. He has represented New Zealand in 126 T20I matches, claiming 164 wickets, making him the highest wicket-taker in T20I cricket history.
The pick order for the draft has been finalized, with two-time champions Lahore Qalandars securing the first pick in the opening round of the platinum category. They will be followed by their arch-rivals, Karachi Kings, who hold the second pick. The 2019 champions Quetta Gladiators will pick third, while Peshawar Zalmi will have the fourth pick. Last season’s runners-up, Multan Sultans, and reigning champions, Islamabad United, will make the fifth and sixth picks, respectively.
