Attempt to Smuggle Heroin Worth Rs. 1.2 Crore to Saudi Arabia Foiled

The Airport Security Force (ASF) thwarted an attempt to smuggle heroin on a flight to Jeddah.

During a routine luggage inspection, ASF officers discovered more than 1 kilogram of heroin hidden in the passenger’s belongings. The seized drugs have an estimated street value of over Rs. 12 million.

The suspect was immediately taken into custody, and investigations are ongoing to determine connections to broader drug trafficking networks.
