A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) training aircraft crashed near the city of Risalpur in Nowshera district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to police reports, the aircraft went down in a field near the runway wall.
The crash caused a fire to erupt in the training aircraft. Rescue teams, including personnel from Rescue 1122, the Pakistan Air Force, and the Army, promptly arrived at the scene with ambulances and fire brigade units to handle the situation.
Authorities stated that the aircraft wreckage is located near the runway and has been secured by security officials. Investigations into the incident are underway to determine the cause of the crash.
It should be recalled that last year in October, training aircraft crashed in the Gandaf area of Swabi. The incident occurred while the plane was performing routine training exercises.
Fortunately, no lives were lost in the crash. According to authorities, the pilot and crew managed to safely eject from the aircraft using parachutes before the impact. Both individuals escaped without injury, though the plane was destroyed.
