flydubai Flights to 2 Pakistani Cities Temporarily Extended

flydubai’s temporary permission to operate flights between Dubai and Islamabad, as well as Dubai and Lahore, has been extended until February 3.

The previous permission had expired on January 4. The decision to extend was made during a federal cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on January 7.

flydubai launched its daily Boeing 737 service between Dubai and Islamabad on July 1, 2024. However, the airline reportedly halted operations on January 3, as the temporary permission was set to expire the next day.

The extension will allow flydubai to resume its daily flights on these routes, ensuring continued connectivity between the two countries.
