The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 draft is just a few days away and all the six franchises are strategizing to select their star-studded squads for the highly-anticipated tournament.
While the planning of the PSL franchises is underway, there is a major blow with regards to player availability of New Zealand’s hard-hitting batter, Mark Chapman as he will only be partially available for the tournament due to the birth of his child.
Chapman, who is likely to register in the platinum category is one of the most high-profiled players that has registered for the PSL 2025 draft. His middle-order explosive batting made him one of the hottest commodities in the draft as there is a huge gap in quality middle-order batters in the league.
The PSL franchises will have to alter their plans and decide quickly on if they would want to pick the Kiwi or opt for another player who might be available for the entirety of the tournament.
Despite Chapman’s partial availability, he will be one of the most sought after names in the PSL 2025 draft, which also includes the likes of David Warner, Daryl Mitchell, Tim Southee and plenty more superstars from across the globe.
The PSL 10 draft is set to take place in Lahore in 13 January as the teams look to fill their squads with superstars to fight for the coveted trophy.
