UAE Visa: Minimum Bank Statement Condition Imposed on Pakistanis

The challenges for Pakistanis traveling from Lahore to Dubai continue to grow, with the UAE visa rejection rate reportedly reaching 99%.

According to travel agents, despite strict conditions imposed by the UAE government, the number of approved visas has drastically decreased.

Travel Agents Association of Pakistan (TAAP) Executive Board Member Sadiq Sabir shared that the UAE authorities now require a bank statement showing one million PKR, a confirmed return ticket, and hotel bookings for visit visa applications.

Sadiq Sabir revealed that around 2,000 visa applications are submitted daily from Lahore alone. However, citing security concerns, 99% of these applications are rejected, leading to significant financial losses for applicants.

Applicants reportedly face losses ranging from 1,500 to 2,000 dirhams per rejection. Additionally, fees for visa applications and hotel bookings are non-refundable, further compounding their financial burden.

Sabir urged Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to address the issue and work towards finding a solution to ease the difficulties faced by Pakistani citizens seeking to travel to the UAE.

    • Ministers are big beggers than public in this country every minister seeks to make money by hook or crook otherwise Pakistanis no need to go to foreign countries in fact they are deteriorating the name of Islam in the world may Allah guid them to the right path so that they can understand every one is answerable to Allah (SWT) at the day of resurrection.

  • This all Fraudulent. There’s no provision for cash on delivery General public advise don’t send money in advance even a single penny through credit card

  • We portray as they are our friends….they are not friends of Pakistan they are the friends of those Pakistanis who look after their personal interests………..our Pakistanis also do illegal activities in UAE that uis also a major issue…

  • A.a thanks for information
Despite is not correct in this paragraph. It has totally different meanings. Here should be used due to not despite.
According to travel agents, despite strict conditions imposed by the UAE government, the number of approved visas has drastically decreased.

  • For wrongdoing by some evil persons, UAE should not create problems for other prospective visitors. In the past, Pakistan has provided many aeroplane which have been working as Emirates.

  • When your country is represented by crooks who make lives of countrymen a disaster, people look for ways to escape the disaster resorting to violations at home and abroad. These crooks have made our country a living hell. And the most pathetic part is that they are pets of the pindi boys.. the dirty morons.. corrupters

  • A good step, will weed out the beggars and loafers who go there just to make life more difficult for other honest Pakistanis.

As for those complaining why the fees are not refundable, the visa fees for the west are much higher and those are also non refundable. In comparison, UAE visit visa fees cost less than 40k rupees.

Furthermore, hotel bookings can be refundable, depending on how you get them.
