The Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (PSX: OGDC) has appointed Ahmed Hayat Lak as the chief executive officer of the company.
“This is to inform that the Board of Directors of the COmpany has appointed Mr. Ahmed Hayat Lak as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Company for a term of three years, effective from January 9, 2025,” OGDC said in a stock filing earlier on Thursday.
Lak was serving as company secretary and head of legal services at OGDC prior to his latest appointment. His other positions include Director on the boards of Mari Petroleum, Reko Dik Mining Company Limited, Pakistan Minerals Pvt Limited and Pakistan International Oil Limited.
OGDC’s scrip at the bourse closed at Rs. 213.03, up 0.04 percent or Rs. 0.08 with 5.56 million shares on Thursday.
